March 29th – April 1st 2024.
Easter next year sees the return of the Tasmanian Corroboree, held at Fulton Park in Forth. This is a preparation camp for Australian Jamboree 2025 (“AJ2025”) and is targeted at those who’ll be Scout age (11-14) when AJ2025 is held https://aj2025.com.au/.
During the days, Scouts may have the opportunity to participate in the following:
Onsite activities:
- disc golf
- billy carts
- slippery slide
- laser tag
- catapults
- archery
- environment activity
- screen printing
- damper/bush doughnuts
- orienteering
- astronomy
- aboriginal crafts
- flying fox
- high ropes
Offsite activities may include:
- mountain biking
- abseiling/climbing
- flying experience
- sailing/rowing
- white-water rafting
- city exploration
Each patrol of Scouts will need to be accompanied at camp by a leader.
Scouts will camp in their Group/District with leaders by night and their camp will self-cater.
Each District will be allocated activities to run.
Parents are required to help run activities, without adult participation the camp could not occur. Parents will camp in a separate area, and parents staying overnight will need a WWVP card.
