Scouts Tasmania is committed to the safety and well-being of its youth members, Leaders, Adult Helpers and the public at large. To ensure we can uphold this commitment to safety, the reporting of near misses and incidents is critically important.
Accidents and emergencies can have immediate and far-reaching consequences. Near misses and incidents, when properly documented and reported, offer invaluable opportunities for prevention and continuous improvement. They are the “early warnings” that enable organisations to take corrective actions, develop preventive strategies, and create a safer organisation.
An Incident Report can be lodged by anyone, either a Leader, a youth member, a parent or a member of the public.
